Can anyone tell me what the amperage of the stock alternator is. need a new one, but can't exactly ask for a larger one whn i dont know the current sized one i have.

Should be either 75 amp or 85 amp.
It should be on a little plate on the alternator.:D

Sorry for Off topic, but is your numberplate meant to say RICECAKE or am I just reading too much into it?

lol, yeah i edited the picture to show the plate as RICE-CAKE (RYC-KAK)
the cars plate is RYC, as is the cars name :D
cant see a plate on my alternator.... anywhere, hence why i asked.
I have upto 85A then? far out im juicing it then. need a larger one.
my TM carby SE is 65amp alternator. Elites and/or EFI models had a 85amp.

yeah i woulda thought the same, that the lower models had a smaller one coz theres less electrical stuff to power. digi dash, senders, etc.

I'm just going on the book spec for the TP cause thats what ya profile says ya got. :D
