hey i have a 96 te altera and i was wondering does my car have remote trunk release (with a remote). if not what models have them. thanks

I believe they were introduced in the TF maybe, but definitely in TH onwards.

nooooooo what a shame. i was looking at my owners manual and it has pictures of it. i was just wondering if this option was only on the LS and yeah.

Yeah, boot release is on the TF onwards remotes, but not on TE.

I never got a remote with my TE Altera, so everytime someone says "my TE Altera remote" I go WTF??, but i did buy a aftermarket alarm and after market central locking.. hooked them up together aswell as a "remote boot".
