I posted a thread in the mods section last week and it was unanimous that I should get myself a chrome grill - have been told that KJ verada one will look good - will this definitly go on a TJ? Where is best to get one - Mitsu spare parts? I was told maybe to even try a place in Fairfield called SSS auto apparently they can chrome the clack stock TJ one... has anyone tried this?

yes it will fit but if you chrome you stock black one it might look weird coz the kj one sits out abit so its flush with the bonnet and the stock one sits in a bit.

best place to get a KJ grill would be mitsi coz it will be hard trying to find a smashed KJ rada at a wreckers

Chromed stock one would look weird i reckon.
Mitsu spare parts is your best bet, was around $160 last time i checked.

but if you can be bothered i'd check a few wreckers i have seen a couple

brand new from mitsu will cost u about 165

I used part number MR921510 on my TE/TJ conversion. The grille surround came unpainted, im sure there is/was a version that came with a chrome surround.

they dont anymore, ego found that out when i bought my grill off him

tho colour coding looks quite effective i reckon, makes the grill less noticeable on a dark coloured car

If this is what you are talking about then yes a KJ verada Grille will go in a TJ magna...
