You cannot use the wheel nuts that came standard with your car, unless your car came standard will alloy wheels. Even then the vrx nuts may be different. They'll definitely be different to stock nuts though.
Best bet would be to go to any tyre place and ask them for a set of nuts that will fit on.

I was able to use my original wheel nuts when I changed from KR alloys to KE alloys.
If the nuts you want to use came from a set of steelies, then you won't be able to use them as the bore of the stud channel on an alloy wheel needs the collar on an alloy nut to centre the wheel on the stud.
Pay a visit to a wrecker for a set. I got 20 for free when I bought some other stuff at a pick apart.

No,
they didn't come with the nuts,
i understand they need the Collar nut, instead of the V
but the standard collar nut doesn't fit (too small) apparantely they are custom from mitsubishi :P so i think maybe a wreckers could be the way to go :P
if i can't find any i will post in the WTB section

they are different, When i got my wheels of a third gen i got the nuts with the rims and the are different from the ones already on my car. Becasue the alloys dont sit on the same as a steelie. but this is just what i have seen on my TR.

i was lucky enough to get the nuts with my set. Unfortunately one of em was buggered so i went to Mitsubishi for one. For ONE it cost me around $10-$15
When i had my suspension done, they (Bridgestone) took the wheel off and said that the thread of one of em was buggered, they GAVE me a new one. When i got the car back i tried to see which one it was, couldnt find it (ie. not blind, couldnt see a different between the genuine and aftermarkets). Definitly take Dr Ego's advice and goto a tyre shop.

They'll cost you about $2 each at a tyre place, i got them for $1 each as i bought new tyres at the same time.

cause i went too autopro and they sell them but the shank is too thin :( apparently the nuts that come with mitsu alloys are special :P

OK found a Set from a guy in Greenacre, Mitsi bits or something i think he is called..
the diameter of the shank is 18mm and the lock nuts i have(when i found out they were wrong) are a 17mm diameter..
for Esemte and Killbilly.. does this sound right? it sounds about right.. as the inner diameter of the rim holes is ~ 19mm.. so about .5mm play on each side?
