Well i've done a search on exhuast in general on here sifted through the pile, sound out abit but it would be nice to get some clarity.

I plan on going Duels soon but i dont want the car sounding like crap. What size should i go, 2.5 seems to be fine? And Should i have a resonator, a hotdog or none?

sorry for another topic but it's alot of money to spend.

I have 2.5" piping with 1 resonator and a 4" cannon and i can tell you now its pretty damn loud.
Also talking to the guy at zorst shop about this he said if your going to go a dual setup, keep the piping stock size? can someone confirm this?

So either way its gonna be pretty damn loud...but if you just go straight through piping its going to drone ALOT

ey clemo

wat most people have done here is they have run a 2.5" from the cat back and then it gets split in to two 2inch and then into mufflers of wat ever choice. reason they drop it down to 2" is so you dont lose any power. if you keep it the same siz all the way through you will lose power.

for mine i have 2.5" from the cat into a dog then splits just before the rear wheel into 2" and then in to 2 SRT mufflers. sounds nice but i have pretty bad drone so will be getting a bigger middle muffler or wat ever put on to get it quite but it still sounds awsome

As i said to u on MSN, ive just got 2.5" from the cat back, then into a Y and 2 sports mufflers either side.

Ive been defected for the exhaust being to loud but when i went n got it tested it sits at 85.9dB at idle and 90dB at 3500RPM.

I havnt noticed any droning in mine either.

well i have a hot dog and ye ask gerard or cittris how bad the drone is. at times its good but other time i cant stand it. go for a decent resinator and ye will be sweet. u plannin to put cannons or muffler?

hi,
if you're not sure if you should put a hotdog/muffler in or not, best off leaving it off to start with. if it's too loud or droney then get one fitted later, i'm running stright thru from the muffler to my 2 mufflers and i like it, but others don't.

i was quoted about $60 for a res if i wanted one fitted later, but like it how it is so i've haven't bothered and saved the $$'s.

it really just depends what you like, so i'd advise leaving it off to start with.
