if i was to buy a incar TV from america, then ship to aust would a NTSC tv still work on our PAL ps2's and dvd payers?

Different resolution/timing/colour format.

I'm using the PAL based PS2 will not work if the TV only support NTSC. You might be able to find a multi-format one like many standard TV's are like.
