Finally got a new front bar. Its the JVM one. Picked it up last friday and put it on today. Im very happy with the results. Im just disapointed that i had to raise my car at the front by 25mm.

Will be getting a letter box grill soon aswell as some side skirts. Most likely the vrx ones as the seem to be the easiest to come by.

If i dont get side skirts ill just colour code the bit down the bottom but theres a 95% chance that ill get side skirts within the next 6 weeks. All depends on how much i spend on drinking and partying

Lookin Phat!

I got it painted a bob wards in ringwood. It was 170 to paint. There are a couple of small imperections in it but that is more because of the fibreglass. But you get what you pay for. I had quotes of up to 500 to do it. But that guy was a real wanker.

Looks very nice mate and colour looks perfectly matched. I wouldn't worry about how you've had to raise the front, it still looks great where it sits now.

Time to get rid of the 16s and get some 18s or 19s.

Sweet our cars are gonna look identical soon...

I might have to see what kind of job he did, thats a good price, but money down the drain if it turns to crap.

In that pic it looks like you could definetly get away without sideskirts as the lines match up nicely. Color coding might be enough.

Heres a closer photo of it. It really isnt that bad just when you look at it closely you can pick up some small imperfections.

Looks v.nice mate well done. Though I reckon you should either get your letter box grille in the same colour mesh, or change the mesh in the front bar to black. I would go all black, would contrast nice with the colour.

i was thinking all black aswell. letterbox grill + black mesh with black mesh on the bumper would look hot as!

will be nice to see once theres some skirts on there too

edit:

i couldn't wait, heres a quick chop i did, ralliart skirts, letterbox grill, black mesh and some coloured inserts

Good Chop!! :D

The side skirts really even out the height. It looks like it fits now.

On it's own it looks a big a lump on the front of the car.

Looks awsome Asylum!

I loev the idea of the charcoal grey bottom on the bar.. Really breaks up the 'bland' 1 colour look. And black/charcoal mesh really looks at home.

Looks great 97Altera.. Spray the mesh matt black at least!

s_tim_ulate: Do what Asylum has done in his last chop.. Looks hella nice!

Thanks mate that looks awesome. Ill be getting the grill done as soon as i work something out with ashneel. The black mesh looks better to. Those side skirts look good but im not going to be to picky. I want the ground effects ones but there to hard to come by now and im not going to buy ralliart ones from mitsubishi. So ill see what happens.

Ive got to many ideas running though my head now and not enough money.

But the best mod in the chop is removing those p plates. Only 12 months to go now.

Sweet chop.

Does someone want to chop that front bar with the Bunbury sides/rear?

Just something I've been thinking about.

Great looking bar, will go off with skirts on. You have also given a great idea of what my car will look like if i go down the same path, since mine is the same color. Personnally i like the look of the rear wheels being lower than the front but hey every man to his own
