hey i have a 96 TE altera and i want remote boot release for my car. how would i go and getting it installed. what parts do i need. is it worth it???? how much am i looking at if i wanted to do so. thanks

I think mitsubishi can install a factory one for yourself, i think the TJ onwards had the boot release button and im 90% sure mitsu can install one for you, but prices i wouldnt have a clue, i couldnt see it being 2 expensive, anything over 150 i wouldnt bother with it!

i have a boot release its pritty awsome,came wit the car,i got it on the remote and in the glove box,i want it to open the full way though but its stil pritty cool,wen i open it theres a noise thing so its like powered by a motor or sometin,prob best to ask a mitsu dealer:)

hmmmm you got a Te with a boot release and central locking???

i got a 96 Te with no central locking or boot release!!
i think i got jibbed :cry:


they must have released all models in 97 with central locking and Boot release!!
