I have a KJ Verada

My interior light bulb blew a few days ago, so I picked up an 8W 12V globe from Mitsubishi spare parts. I went and put it in, and the light came on and went off while installing it......now some things don't work!

Central locking doesn't work.
Clock doesn't work
I need to set the computer everytime I turn the ignition on (Set Sedan and 3.5L)
Interior lights don't work.
But it starts and runs etc

What have I done?

Cheers
Andre

Open up the engine bay fuse panel and check the 2 fuses inside the funky yellow holder.

Check these threads. :D

I'd check all fuses inside the footwell. I'd say you've shorted it or spiked it. Was the light switched on as you were replacing? I dunno why so much is affected... resetting each time sounds like a capacitor or sumn aint keepin records.

Long nose pliers should do the trick.

In the fuse box under the bonnet is a row of about 7 fuses.
There is a red 15amp fuse 2nd from the end closest to the middle.
That should be the one thats causing the problem. :D

Thanks for the help guys. It was the exact fuse described here....the 15A in the "Funky yellow holder". For future reference, it's easier as a two person job....

1) Get torch...because it's always night time when this stuff happens
2) Get two small electronics screw drivers
3) In the sweetest voice you can muster "Honey...can you help me out here in the cold for a second" ....wifes response something like
4) Use screw drivers to push tabs out on the fuse holder...pray...pull!!

It's all good now!

Cheers guys

I just use 2pr needle nose pliers to grab both fuses in the yellow holder
then yank them out together, yellow thing comes out with them no hassles.
