well i have decided to get my 98 TF lowered and i was thinking going 2inch drop at the rear and 2.5inch drop at the front, (any more and i wont be able to get it in the driveway) and i spoke to a guy at K-mac suspension about it and he said i will need to get a camber kit for my car.
has anyone had problems with their camber allignment after lowering their car?

Had my verada on super lows compressed no issues with Camber at all. Just lower it for starters get an aligment done and keep an eye on it from there.

I was told by the guys at Kmac suspension that up 2 inch's lowered is safe and any lower than 2" would screw up the camber.

That said I believe the front is relatively cheap to get shims to adjust the camber, however the rear uses new adjustable arms ( not sure of proper name ) which cost an arm and a leg.

yeah he mentioned that too, but just askin around to be on the safe side, i think i might go 2.5 on the front (to fill that massive wheel arch) and 2 on the rear

I have coilovers and have dumped it a lot. I have 10 cm clearance at the rear and 9 at the front. Not to sure how much ive dropped it. At a guess i would say 3 inches give or take.

My rear camber is pretty bad and if i go around a corner to fast the rear wheel rubs against the spring. The coilovers have been on the car for about 5 weeks now but havent looked at the tires so im not to sure if its chewing up the inside.

Will be getting a camber kit soon though.

camber kits are around the $80-90 mark from whiteline, +1.25deg it's an upper controll arm bush... im getting it nextweek and an adjustable swaybar (rear) and a castor kit and font strutbrace and camber kit too if i can afford it..

does your car have inderpendent rear suspension? apparently they were switched over in 98 just wondering if that makes a difference

All 3rd gens (from '96 to '05) have a 4 link IRS.

Where is the 5th link? You dont include the sway bar! They have...
1.. Upper wishbone
2.. Trailing link
3.. Lateral link
4.. Toe control link
