hey.... i finaly have a system up and running.... so i have another question

im runing or will be running 4 12" 250w rms svc subs in a sealed enc off the mono... now what size wiring should i be using on the speaker... atm im just running 2 12's and 16g but it looks skinny as.... can i use 8ga amp wiring??? cos i have a bit of it floating about...

and i need to tune up the system, atm the incar f&r are hi passed at 125 something errr khz i think, but i can set it at 80 50 an off... and the up out is at 80hz and can be set at 50 80 and 125hz, not to mention the eq and other crap just on the headunit.... then there is all the dials on the amps... which havent been touched, straight outt the box.... im getting a sound that im happy with.... but i know that just like an engine it could be tuned way way better... whats the go... where do i take it or learn to do it myself???

pls a big thanks to all those who have given me tips on gear etc.... im wrapped with the response stuff!!!

the weakink to my system is my povo cheap asze subs, but to me i reckon they go pretty bloody good.... but i'll get something better up the back later on

lastly, plits in the TJ's rear doors worth while easy to do??? i was thinking about putting them in prefab pods and removing the 69ers from the shelf so the bass can pour through.....

farrrk, im deaf already lol and loving it  it's not this loud at the airport where i work.... ok well maybe louder but....

I use 10G on my 300wrms subs and that seems plenty for them. 16G is a little too thin though for my liking.

As for amp settings, it does all depend on what you like listening to, but here's a general guide:
Front and rear speakers running on HPF at around 100-250hz, depends on the sound you're going for, play around with it abit. You want the least amount of bass though so that you don't drown out your subs. HPF is a must :).
The subs must run at LPF but being a monoblock i don't think that's an issue. Your gain controls should be set pretty low if your headunit's output voltage is above 4v. This will help elimate engine whine and you can stepup the volume slowly.
