Noticed near my feet in the drivers seat some sort of liquid (water, dosent smell like oil or anything else)
Have checked water levels, all are fine, all oils are fine etc
So im wondering where the water would come from, is there a hose or anything under neath the mat in the drivers seat? Not the heater hose or anything ?
any ideas?
thanks

Leaking heater core perhaps? It's located in the centre behind the TCU. OR your windscreen seal may be leaking...

Nope and Nope
Got a feeling theres a tube or as mentioned its the heater core, its directly where the feet rest and in the centre, might undo the carpet and have a look

the same kinda think happened in my girlfriends telstar
it was her heater, which was screwed and was allowing water to drip out at the footrests (although hers was at passanger side).. she didnt bother to get it fixed as it is yeaers and years old, and was told that it would be cheaper to buy a new car then to get it fixed.
the way that the guy fixxed it was to dissconnect the heater n then no more drips..
oh well hope i helped.
cheers.

Could be the condensation drain for the ac. Should be a rubber tube that runs out into the engine bay and drains onto the ground. If it gets blocked or comes off you'll get water on the floor when you use the ac.
Dunno exactly where it is on yur mode cause yur profile doesnt say wat yu got :)
The heater core is also a candidate as others have said.

If it's the heater core, and there's coolant in there, it will smell to high heaven! There's no other smell quite like it.

All the relevant pipework is on the passenger side for both the ac and heater in the TR.
It may be comming from the other side through the cooling ducts ( although you would still expect water on the pass side as well).

From what your saying it does sound like Air conditioner evaporator or whatever they call it, it sits behind the glove box. Will more then likely need to be checked out by an air cond shop, most will check it for free though.
