hey,
i am about to start putting new speakers in my TJ and was wondering if anyone had placed speakers in their arm rest or if its possible...just a crazy idea i have

If you're talking about putting speakers in the rear doors than yes, this is something that I've had done to my Ralliart.

It's possible but i don't think anyones ever done it.....actually placing some little 4 inches there (not too powerful) for rear fill might be interesting. Would solely be for the rear seat passengers though.

maybe tweeters, and put the woofers in the doors?? sound stage would b all odd tho lol
could always put a lil touch screen in, for umm i dunno :P
and put a 20-30cm neon under the arm rest, for some under-armrest glow :P

sounds like a pretty pointless task having it more for show than anything.
but to be honest i would like to know how it would sound in the car, it might be like having a genuine in car surround sound system with the arm rest acting as a centre speaker.
