TS sedan 4 cyl with shot shockers.
Decided that with 220000 on the clock maybe it was time to replace the springs as well as shocks, so took Shawns (from our sponsor Phillcom Rally's) advice and went for low's all round for performance.
So a set of Lovell springs and KYB shocks duly purchased and fitted by myself.
Result.....car sits a bit lower, lowering the centre of gravity, I also found the steering to be more precise.
The ride is slightly harder but you only feel a mimimal difference, certainly not too hard.
The big improvement is in cornering, even pushing the car hard through the hills she sits flat with no hint of body roll.
Over the next few weeks I expect the springs to settle and should sit slightly lower.
Huge improvement and highly recommended.
Next project....I really must chamge those rubber boots on the CV joints
