I'm painting my console silver tomorrow and I've taken out all of the pieces this afternoon, just need to know two things;

a) How do you remove the hazard light switch from the A/C controls surround? There aren't any screws or anything..?

b) How do you remove the cigarette lighter socket from its surround?

By the way; this is on a 3rd Gen (TF).

hey buddy.

the ciggerete bit either pushes out or u unscrew the back ring of it.

As for the hazzard switch simple answer is u cannot get it out. just mask it with tape.

just dont try and drive your car while the hazard switch unplugged, your indicators wont work, well thats what happened to my car, a TF
