Not bad mate. I suggest you do something about the grille though, the very *bright* (glossy) black makes it stand out too much. Try toning it down a bit.

Hey Adza, that's the SSV lip on the front isn't it? Something about yours looks much better than that white one that was posted up in the recent bodykits thread... thought maybe you had it sitting higher, but on checking it doesn't look like that's it. Maybe it's just the colour, or the driving lights, but it looks good on yours!:D

yep.. SSV front.. got it from Gas_Hed a while back..
although i will be changing it soon.. so there might be a whole front bar(still with the skirt) primed and ready to paint 4 sale..

Actually i would remove the weathersheilds, paint the mirror casings to your body color, make ya front indicators clear and yes CHANGE THE GRILLE!!!

i need to bring the front down for sure..:)
well i will be planning a complete makeover soon..
1. sound deaden entire car (doors, trunk, and so on) stupid boot rattle...:rant:
2. drop suspension front and rear
3. colour brake calipers(when i could be a$$ed to do it)
4. change interior colours
5. leather interior
6. sports steering wheel (brand unknown..anything that looks good)
7. modify boot install (blue boot carpet)
8. redo that damn roof lining...
9. perspex moulded front indicators (will most likely be available for sale..)
10. custom LED tail lights. similar to maserati style (see cummins magna)
and thats about all i have lined up at the moment...
i have one more thought but it is way more than my budget can handle :(

Until you're parked on level ground, noone can really say you need to lower it ;)

drove out too Dee Why tonight to get some dinner..
and i was happily driving along untill someone decides they wish to rearange my car....
this fool tries to change lanes with me on his left.. and drives into driver's side of my car :( fortunately i was quick enough to get on the horn and pull left.. however.. i forgot for a second that there was a rather large gutter on the left :( so smack.. brand new VRX rim grated the gutter about 1/3 of the way along.. :( i was so mad... (sorry wrexed :P not my fault)
fortunately the guy stopped and we swapped details..
now i don't know wether to get the rim repaired? or get him to buy me a new 1 from mitsubishi..
plus there is only slight damage on the driver's side.. barely noticable..
ie slightly rubbed the gaurd with his tire(he was in a 4x4) and took a bit of paint off the front bumper, other than that its fine.. oh and he cracked the mirror and put a scratch on the door

Get him to get you a new one. Repairs are costly. Plus it'll be easier.

the rims look great, i agree with killbilly- vrx rims look ace on 2nd gens- i was looking for some for my wagon at one stage.
i reckon you only need to lower the front about an inch and a half, the back looks good as it is.
also i think your gloss black grill is ok because your lights have gloss black on them too, but the 'nostrils' could do with some chrome meshing behind it instead of the blue stuff you have.

i quickly did it in photoshop and it looks pretty good, but i can't attach pics for some reason.
oh well.

Nice, VRX rims do fill out the TR/TS wheel arches rather well don't they.

Bummer about the scrapage though.

I do love the shine off these rims when you've given the car a good wash. Mein eyes!

Dont like the colour of the car or the grille. But those rims are fairly nice (same as killbillys)

Hey Adam just saw the pic of the damaged rim. Just showed Nick as well. His words were holly ..... you know the rest. Sorry to hear but crap like this happens from time to time. Just get the fella to buy you a new one from Mitsu and be done with it.
Far out you have only had them now for three weeks. Keep the old one as a spare still may be worth getting it repaired.

How bads the other damage? I can almost guarrentee that the paint he has scratched off will cost more than $400 to repair.
