hey all,

I thought I'd ask for people opinions because I can't seem to decide which way to go myself. Should I go with a custom made front bar(fibre glass) or a premade kit (like from SSV)? What I'd really like I guess would be to put a front bar simular to that of the VRX's though I drive a '97 TE so those to my knowledge don't just fit nice and easily

Saying that I would be happy to go with the front lips that many people on this forum have (see below for the SSV one I was looking at)

So what do you think? is it more economical to go with a premade bar or get a custom one (and if anyone could recommend a good fibre glass styler in the sydney area that would be great for both my mate and I)?

thanks in advance

someone correct me if im wrong, but the VRX kit is an Add on to the TH onwards standerd front bar.

so pickup up a VRX kit and a TH-TJ ( which will bolt straight on ) and your laughing.

much cheaper than custom or premade custom front bar to and probably better looking.

hmmm good idea, and I should be able to get both of those through mitsu. I never thought of that path

even better try an source your front bar from a wrecker. Im thinking Rear ended TJ ( front should be fine )

then if u have to just the VRX bar from mitsu but be prepeared to pay alot.

yeah if you want to go down vrx path just get a th-tj front bar. Wreckers should have them. then just get the bar off ssv or carmate. Going a custom front bar isn't the best idea. Most places i've seen that do custom front bars make them too weak and they break.

check my signature if you're after a fiberglass front bar :)
