my front left speaker has gone quiet all of the sudden, all the other speakers are fine, but there is little volume coming out of it, any ideas?

Little volume? Or no volume?

try by converting all the sound to that speaker to see if it changes anything. could be a loose wire or connection on you speaker that might need to be resoldered. the speaker may need to replaced

I'd go loose wire above faulty speaker, I've seen it time and time again.

Check the RCA plugs at the head unit and the connections at the speaker itself. If you can't see anything visibly wrong with the plugs or connections, wriggle the wire around while something is playing through the speaker and see if it affects the sound.

If it does, there's your problem. It'd be easier to replace the cable than fix the plugs themselves.
