haha sorry guys, but off the clock on a 4cyl is 220 aint it?? cause my sohc finishes 4th gear at 215km/h and the extra 1000rpm the dohc produces seems to add big legs to each gear, which i believe would also get larger in each gear.

edit* i just realised it is in the v6's from memory, i havent gone far in 5th with the sohc... something might arise.

I'd find out for ya the next time i go to my uncles property in the nt but my wheel alignment is shocking and i dont enjoy braking at 120atm.

I'd also like to state how i love how my speedo just races up...

I'm going to the drags on thursday night so i'll let ya's know how i go, but i'll also state the whole no gripping clutch and poor wheel alignment will definately be costing me... My new clutch wont arrive till that very day so it would be able to get installed for it also im not getting my springs in until the clutch goes in... i'm too busy at uni to do them myself...

Off the clock in a 4cyl is 200.

Mine dyno'd at 165hp, while fixing a top end ignition problem *if you look at the graph you can still see a splutter at the very top of the curve*

Are you asking fastest as in top speed or quickest like 1/4 mile? I ran 14.806@153.22km/h First and best run ever lol I haven't run it since, I should do it again one day :)

As far as top speed...well lets just say: 1st-70km/h, 2nd-120km/h, 3rd-just above 180km/h, 4th-dont ask lol, 5th-well...again lets just say it went off the clock (220) and decided that it was now time to start pulling harder and harder...

Hehe I get the same results in my stock TP magna, 180 is about redline in 3rd gear, didn't have enough space to give 4th a shot.

My TR would die above about 170..............and even that took quite some time to get to that speed.

lol 5L v8 vn was keen as to get me going on the highway (in the nt) ie was annoying me, i went all the way through 3rd but i thought it only got to 175km/h... once then let him go.

absolutely smashed the **** out of it... i was surprised at how at those speeds it's still pulls.

There'd be a massive difference in the time it takes you to get there though lol

my run i was at 190 before i got a hill, pulled 185 up the hill, then went off the clock on the way down. i was on narrow tyres (185/75 r14's). when i put large tyres on (235/45 r17) i havent had it over 195. might get some new skinnys and have a crack at a salt lake.

Who's up for the record of Fastest mitsubishi powered mitsubishi in aus (or the world) next speed week?

There is dynos of mine floating around on the forums somewhere on a good dynodynamics roller which is a true source.

I know justin's turbo TR did my RPW managed 202fwhp but noone seen the dyno ect so we cant go by that.

While it's a good indication you still can't even go off what a dyno tells you, it all depends on how the car delivers that power to the ground as well :).

in fwds yeah hahahah

but in rwds hp can basically indicate how quick you will go considering your wieght within .5 of the pass if you are a ok driver if done in shootout mode ect.

lol best of my 2 runs tonight was 15.6... everthing was against us...
2.4 60ft...
36deg air temp wtf at night,
93% humidity

and my clutch is gone and wouldn't grip and i missed 3rd both times... lol

times were pretty weird... eg ralliart hammered some car the ended with 16.1 time and said the other car was faster... ill go back again with everything fixed...

excuses i know but the data seems weird have to confirm...
