Im thinking about putting a 3.5 into my TF. What im asking is there any issue with the ECU running the new engine or would it be best to update that straight away when and if i fit the 3.5? Also if anyone else has done this could they tell me how well the conversion went and roughly how much they spent. Thanks in advance! :D

Should be fine, i had my ralliart engine running off my TE ECU for a few months before i put my flashed ecu in.

And by the looks of the link above it's safe to whack in a pre-TJ 3.5 as it operates basically the same (prob along the same lines as we were talking about at heathcote with the extra sensor). ECU would be different but then that gives you an excuse to go and get a piggy back and make a few more kw's :).
