Can anyone tell me what the torque settings are for the bolts on the upper intake manifold as I have just purchased one of those RPW replacements and I am going to fit it myself. Will they even matter that much??

According to the Service Manual, it's 17nM.
With steel bolts going into aluminium threads on the Intake Manifold, you won't want to overtighten them. :D

To get more insulation, try putting heatshrink over the plant part of the bolt shafts and some fibre washers under the bolt head.

if you up to payin the cash for the intake manifold from RPW, you might wanna think about the thermo spacers for the inlet manifold and throttle body?
