hey all
been reading your forum for a while now, got me intersted in magnas... and as a result im now the owner of a dark (frontier?) green TF executive.
i reckon i got a good deal on it too, but would appreciate your feedback, this is what it came like:

17" rims, lowered(not heaps but looks good with 17's), bought from first owner with book, had optional ABS and Front airbag, and after market Blaupunkt CD player, and a spoiler on the back with LED, think it could be off a sports(its factory). Got it with 170k on the clock. It does have scratches on it, particularly the bumpers, but i reckon i can get lookin alrite with not too much effort..we'll see, oh and also 3 dings w/o loss of paint, all around the size of a 10c piece. The SRS light stays on, but seeing as it was optional it still complies. still gonna get it checked out, and also apparently the rocker cover needs lookin at, but thats not a big deal.
and it cost $5300.

so, im goin home for a few days but def. be back on here after that.

cheers guys

will

oh ill have some pics when i get back.

Is it Auto or manual? If its Auto i reckon its overpriced.... mine had 130 on it wen i bought it and its a Manual.... 9K From a dealer.... i got good value out of it buying from a dealer coz the clutch went and got it replaced for nothing.... cost them 900+ dollars.... so yer, mines a TF too...

Excellent buy.. I have a dark metallic green TF exec as well.. lol, tho mine is auto with 212k on it. To me it's still worth 10k. I wish I had a manual tho. Any plans for mods?

Welcome to the world of magnas.:D

Ya know, a sneaky person would just take the srs bulb out for roadworthy...:shifty:

But I would still get it checked out..mmkay..:D

hehehe, yeah thats a possibility.
Still worth checking it out though, as you dont want an airbag going off in your face while driving.
Sounds like a good buy though, the ABS braking is a big bonus as is the manual transmission.
Oh and picsorban.

hehe, will get on to it (pics), but gf has them on her camera atm so give it a bit. with taking the srs bulb out, wouldnt the inspector notice that it doesnt turn on when the ignition is first switched on? its got airbag written on the steering wheel after all.
but yeah, how would i take the bulb out? had a quick look for a guide but no love. probably havent quite got the hang of searchin thru stuff yet tho.

as for mods, first one is to get vic rego! but seriously, once it is and i have gotten rid of the scratches (any tips here? im thinkin just gettin a can of touch up paint from somewhere) i guess just a tint for the moment, what with summer and all coming. and then take it from there......
