As above does anyone have advice on how to wire in an aftermarket tacho into a 3rd gen.

you already have a tacho, its the big dial next to the speedo.

comon guys he just asked for some help, well, find ay old powerpoint in your house and poke the wires in the slots until you fry it....

his car let him do wat ever he wants to do.
crackajnr i had a tacho installed in my 3rd gen and its really easy to do. all you have to do is get power obviousy then to get the signal comming into the tacho you will have to remove your cluster and unplug the loom thats plugged to the cluster. looking at the loom you will see a all white wire its abit chunky then the rest just splice into that and it should be all good. also a word of advice please disconnect your battery while doing this. i didnt and had a short circut and fried my speedo sensor which cost $100 to fix.
