I need to borrow some stock peices for my TR to help it pass Road Worthy

2x TR Tailights
and a stock TR/TS Steering wheel.

if you have these bits lying around please let me know.

I don't want to buy these parts, just borrow them

Josh'93TR might still have the tail lights he had up for sale a week or 2 ago, ask him if u could borrow them?
dunno about the wheel.
why cant u pass RWC?

thanks guys. don't really wanna pay shipping as its jsut for road worthy

wheel wont pass coz its a sport wheel and i cna't get the horn to work
Lights won't pass coz they are tinted

Arrgghhh for the tint (if nothing works out) There was some chemical that could strip em.....Damn i cant remeber whats its called...maybe metho im not to sure:confused:

you are probalbly haveing troubles because sports steering wheels come with an extra wire and the tr ones are already grounded so all i did was to have that wire stripped and between the two plates so when you press the horn it works. well thats what worked for me? if that makes any sense to ya?

do u have cruise control? i had to fiddle with the connection to get my horn/cruise to work...its a pain in the u no what, but it is do-able...hey i even got to keep my cruise control! (ive heard some people had to forgo their cruise because of sports wheels?)

Kinda off topic, but I read in the QLD rules that you can't have a steering wheel under 350mm diameter, and all of the sports ones I've seen are 320mm; anyone had issues with rego etc with this?

Also, how do they go in a crash? ie., ADR compliance?

lol let me put it this way...any cheap wheel, in a crash, will hurt...hurt alot...

Especially the woodgrain one with chrome 3 spoke centre.....you do NOT want to bang your head into one of those in a head on!
