finaly finished my stereo for this year:D
just recently finished the boot lid and a new head unit:)
well il give a brief run down on my stereo
starters its all alpine
mp3/wma (cda-9857) cd player with remote!!
2 12 alpine type s subs in enclosed box
1x700 wat mono amps for the subs
2x90 watt amps for the speakers
4x alpine 6x9 type s speakers
custom boot set up
lots of neons

that would be my awsome pa/multi tune car horn:P just a brief run down wat it can do,pa system wit a mic,animal sounds eg rooster,frog,dog,cow(all time favourite),police siren,machine gun,some otha wierd noises,got off ebay for 80 bucks(including postage,(40 bucks to install as well) just sometin to have some fun wit on the weekend.

yeah front door as well dude,need some bass in the front as well,when cranked,just bout everythin shakes,the sound is amazing!
to be ohnest neva seen any car wit 6/9s in the front wanted to be different,wen i first got my old headunit they came wit them i asked since i havnt got power windows can ya put em in the front they said yeap,i was like sweeeeeeetttttttttt.

total money spent,well way ova the 2 and a half grand mark,plus i got alot of discount on install and the equipment,its good thing purchaseing stuff of good friends of the family:D

Cheers thats the word i was looking for!industrial!thats the theme for the boot,one of my dads work utes had checkered plateing on the back tray i was like hmm if that was in my boot,i rekon it would look sick!the idea was givin to me by a mate of mine,said its not too expensive,and it would stand out,its the real stuff just in case you didnt know:D

cheers yeah its still there dude,when i first started the install,the guys who installed it i asked em to make it so i can get it out but they didnt!:rant:
so the otha day when i finished my boot lid,i got them to make it so i can get my tyre out,its still in there just infront on the subs theres a checkered plate that just sits there,then under it the bit of wood has been cut so i can lift it up and the leaver for that wooden board is out so its easy to take it out,all i have to do is push both amp walls to the side and pull that checkered boarding plate out,a long process just to change a tyre i know,but its beter than havin no tyre and getin stuck out in the middle of no where!im sure theres a few magnas out there wit boot installs and stil have their spare tyre still in,it would be a realy stupid thing to take it out.

well now im gona start saveing,the plan is to have 18s by new years eve at the latest,i asked wats the best price they could do on some nice 18s at tyre power they said 1500$ fitted and including tyres,depending on wat money i have saved by then might have enough money to get it lowered at the same time,i will definately post pics up when i get them for shiz!:D

hey mate it was um 700 for the boot install plus wiring for the subs,the boot lid interior itself cost 200,i got it all discounted,would of cost heaps more,good friends of the family installed it for me,i discussed wit the owner of the car audio dealers wat i wanted,they did some measurements and gave me a quick sketch wat it would look like,they had to make a few changes when installing it,had some vinyl put above the sub box to hide the wires,or do you mean progress pics of like b4 and after?

boot install looks good mate :D, the checker plate is diffently different dont see it around alot, maybe that cause it costs to much :confused:, hmmm anyway nice choice in audio gear alpine make some good amp, they are worth there money :badgrin:.

i have those exact alpine 6x9's in the back, they sound soo good, much better than any 6x9's i sampled around, i think i payed 160 for myne that was at a 'run out' but yeah they sound ace!

well my boot install gives me a nice 1 inch drop at the back:P

yeah but it lowers the back,the front stil sits bit high lol,i cant realy lower it til i got bigger mags,it will be properly lowered one day when i get my 18s in december:D
