Howdy all,

I went and bought some new spring compressors last week after my old ones had finally given up the ghost. (12 cars!)

Some interesting info for those wanting to buy spring compressors.

Make sure you get compressors with as fine a thread as possible (and dual clawed). This makes manual winding of the springs so much easier!

When i get home ill post up pics of the difference between the 2 pairs.

The finer thread set cost me $42, whereas the thicker thread cost me $32

I managed to do Jo's car by myself in around 3 hours.

What Brand did you get?
I was looking at getting a pair a while back the "MacStrutter" was well over $120. They were a really good quality set though.
