Hi all,

recently i installed an pod adaptor for my stereo and bing the genius that i am zapped some wire now my door open light wont go out any deas whats wrong

your door is open??????? sorry cant help but had to say it before someone else did!!!

i tested all my doors like a hundre times and the light is still n when theyre all closed just wonderin if its a wiring problem or not i saw a spark so thats what im guessing

Your light switch is turned to 'always on'??????

have you checked all the fuses? it always ends up being the fuse.

check the fuse box on the drivers foot well and also in the engine bay

Yeh but a fuse usually cuts out power to certain things, not give power :).
It could be something as silly as you've somehow grounded a power wire that's used for the door open light....not sure how you could have done that lol.

I'm not certain with the Magna but in most cars the wire to the interior light is live all the way to the switch at the door jam.....ie battery to light to door is all live. The circut is completed when the door is opened and the switch earths so if you have a short between the light and the door the light will come on and stay on. I don't have a wiring diagram to check but I would bet this is what you have.

I have wiring diagrams if you want a copy of the interior light circuit or any others if you want a copy just ask. It might help find the problem.
