Yep, I almost go it correct. I was putting in a set of map lights, and I cut the roof lining too low, and now I've got an ugly hole. Anyone got any ideas on a solution? Otherwise I'll have to get a new roof lining
Cheers,
Paul

Get the verada ones, they look bigger than those and will fill up the gap.

Maybe glue a strip of fabric that matches the interior around the light to look like a highlight.
That would cover the hole (glue it down flat first) and give it a different sorta look.
Just a thort...........anybody else??????? :D
Maybe ask an upholsterer for advice.

Hi Alan - I know - every mod I've done has turned to crap lately! Rather than go up to my flat and get a stanley knife, I used the pruning saw and kiddy scissors that happened to be in my tool box!! Still, I put the foggies in and didn't screw that up! I've also got the dash you sent working. I'm going to get the odo 'corrected' from 150000 back to 65K that it is really is this week. I've taken it to one place, and they said they couldn't do it. They want to take the flash rom off, and swap it with my screwed cluster, and said they couldn't guarantie not killing it.
What brought this all on was I've got the map lights, VRX exhaust, foggies, instrument cluster just sitting around, so thought a long weekend was a good time to start the job!!
Cheers mate - I'll send you some cash, that will solve the problem nicely!

Thanks mate (and greenmatt)! I was thinking of making a chrome surround, but I've not really got the tools or the skills (but I'm always willing to give it ago   ) I think the verada one will solve the problem. TJ sports made an idiot proof installation guide on here awhile ago, but there are two sets of holes, and I picked the wrong one. Oops!

Thats not as crazy as it sounds, I'm seriously considering it! If/when my contract get renewed, I'm probably going to do it. I'll send the map light back to you
