Last Night I picked up my old TN Elite wagon from my brothers Ex. I had loaned it to her for her own personal use, even after they broke up I still let her drive it.But she hasn't payed the reg and wasn't driving it so we went down and picked it up.

Although the Blue over Silver body is not the best, the engine didn't even puff any smoke when the foot was planted. The trans is fine changing without any dramas. Sitting inside it was a joy, it oozes class and I'm sure is roomier inside than my 99 Wagon.

The fuel gauge doesn't work.
The wiper switch is broken.
The chassis is bent (I side swiped a Laser years ago and went pased it on two wheels like stunt car apparently).
Theres rust.
The rear end was hit last year.
All 4 engine mounts are frogged.
The A/C compressor is stuffed.
Thats all I can think of for the moment.

Now I'm just thinking about what to do with her.....

fuel guage not working, especially on a elite is common lol just need to get another sender.

wiper switch is easy to replace if you take the wing controller off the steering wheel.

Rofl!! its rare enough to see a car do that but a wagon ? lol good job. I drove straight into a round-about in my TN once and got it airborn :D

If its got all those problems, you should just see if you can sell it for as much as you can or wreck it and then get one of those guys that give ya $50 to take the body away.

Thats what i did with my TN. This guy with a massive truck came and picked it up by the roof!! i felt sad to see it go but its heart (engine) lives on in my TP Elante so im happy :D

Yeah I had no idea what happened, turned out she was in the wrong because she was double parked.... but I didn't have the heart to ask her to fix the TN. My Mechanic Brunswick Magna replaced the whole front end, hammered the chassis back as far as they could and threw another LH front Guard on. Apart from pulling a little to the left it's fine.

Garry is looking at putting her back to work as a Courier vehicle. I'm sure it would be reliable until he got a Tray Truck to replace it with. So the old girl looks likely to have few months left in her yet.

Wish us luck.

Had her out the front of the house with a for sale sign on it. Considering our Street is not overly busy, I didn't get any bites.

So this morning after sitting for two weeks I jumped in turned the key and the Astron 11 fired into life. No smoke and only a few morning rattles until she settled down 30 seconds later. Took her around to the Local corner for selling cars up on Sydney Rd opposite Box Forrest Rd.

As Garry and I drove back home we actually talked about looking at doing something with her!
