As I'm about the upgrade the rear brakes this weekend, I would like to know whether my 15" steel spare will fit over the caliper (284mm Rotor)

If not Anybody got a spare 16/17" wheel/tyre they're looking to offload? Cheap.....:D

You need a 16" wheel to clear the front caliper. I tried my old TE stocky and it didnt come close to fitting.

Cheers for that. How about the rear wheel? Would a stocky go over that?

A 15" alloy wont fit without modifying the front calipers but will fit on the rear. TE Steelies were 14" I believe.
A 15" steelie may have a bit more clearance than a 15" alloy so should fit the rear and may fit on the front (depending on rim) but we had to modify the front calipers a little on the rally cars to fit 15" alloys.
