The stock TE exhaust cant be seen so if i get a new one is it still gonna be hiden or can it go under the rear bumper, also wud i need to cut a hole in that bumper so it sticks thru

How much is a full exhaust system cost.. ( not just a tip like every p plater in a 400 dollar car ) and which exhausts suit a magna? i want something that will roar when i put the foot down but will keep quietly grwling while im just drivign normally

That's just the down pipe that can't be seen, just keep the same downpipes for the new exhaust and you won't see it. You'll only need to cut a hole if you get a tip that goes straight from the muffler.

...that thread details the path I went down. You can have the bumper cut so everyone can see your shiny tip... but I didn't really want anything that glam.

Anyway read that thread and see.

Just FYI,

I have checked out this idea as well. If you tell the guys you get to install it that you want it to point out diagonally from under the rear bumper, they'll do it. You can also leave the old Magna exhaust on, but its not a good idea, best off getting a whole new one. The price on a whole new Lukey 2.5" straight-through exhaust system with hi-flow cat and 2" tips (too small for my liking) is about $850. I'd assume that an upsize (3" sys with ~4" tips) will be about $1000-$1200. Any bigger and its probably pretty pointless unless you wanna start doing crazy stuff with freakin' huge turbo's or you wanna make your magna a skyline.

I cut out a hole in the bumper to fit my exhaust coz my car was low and i didnt need it scraping something else!

Obviously you dont need to do this as i had my reasons why it would work better for me.
