Hi All,
My first post. So bare with me... :D
Bought a 1996 Ke Ei Verada 4months ago. So far only replaced the Muffler & Tip cos the old one was damaged & rusted.
And now lookin at doing the conversion to manual. Just getting suggestions or thoughts and if anyone else has done the same or is it worth doing.
Cheers

Hi Mate,
First off welcome to the club. Yes it is worth doing the conversion, provided you are lucky, ie have very mechanical minded friends, and find the source parts easily.
If you were to pay for the car to be converted you would be looking at an easy 6k or more.
People have done the conversion for less than $1000, try using the search button up the top of the screen as this has been discussed MANY times before.
Enjoy your stay and if you need anything else, try searching, and if that doesnt work just ask your question.

theres no such thing as semi auto, it either has a clutch or it doesnt.

Thanks guys greeting... :P
I'll have to have a look around for a manual that will fit perfectly. I'm under the impresion that Veradas Ke Ei didn't come in manual as well?
Got a mate thats done alot of work for me in the pass, for an Rotary i own. He's a mech by trade. And has worked on Magnas/Veradas before. So already he wants $400 for the labour. So it's parts now i'm chasin....gearbox, clutch, master/slave cly, tailshaft?
Got other mods in mind too, would like other suggestions too,
-A better or cleaner cold air intake
-remove the old 2.5 inch system and replace with 3inch
-Pace maker extractors
-maybe a chip (heard they do little increase in performance or fuel saving)
Anything else?
Cheers
