Only running 6.5psi atm, hopefully next week ill get it on the dyno and get it up to 12. Thought i'd upload some pics (only crappy phone pics sorry) to see what you guys think.

Thanks guys  Cost me $10, 500 from start to finish. Hoping to get some money back from the old auto gear box i used to have. I'll have to something about a body kit; my front bar is bent around my intercooler atm and doesnt look too tidy...:doubt:

lol just noticed your front bar now

speak to a guy on forums named "Black Beard" because he managed to get an even bigger intercooler than your into the stock bar

or you can talk to [WTCHME] about getting a new bar :D

Not quite - his intercooler looks like at least a 600x300x76. Mine only 450x300x76.

Nice looking setup mate. Would love to know more about it.

What sort of turbo you running? It looks quite abit smaller than Booyas GT40.

What sort of engine management you running?? I can't see a MAF sensor, and I notice you have a venting to atmo BOV.

Your profile says you're in Qld..... whereabouts? and where'd you get the install done?

And I'm assuming you upgraded your gearbox to a manual??

looks good mate!

question... are you using the stock headers? from what it looks like i'm thinkin that once the 2 manifolds meet, the exhuast comes up the firewall to the turbo? who did the intake manifold?

Yeh i just noticed that to, wouldn't you get some turbo lag having this setup?

I think you'll find thats the dump pipe.

I'm guessing he's bringing the exhaust from the rear bank of headers under the engine up to the front where it meets the exhaust from the front bank and goes into the turbo (can't see the exhaust flange in the pic).

lol Don't worry mate........ I was a stupid n00b once too. For some reason it all seems to make more sence once you've had a turbo (or two) + manifolds + dump pipes sitting on your garage floor for a week or so.

I'm starting to get the impression this bloke isn't planning on becomming a very active member of the forums :doubt:

It looks pretty much like 3rd gen intake manifold to me, modified to have the t/b on the oposite end. But I could be wrong.

Haha so many questions i don't know where to start :eh: Sorry about the late reply; couldnt resist and had to go for a drive this arvo:D

My battery is now located in the boot

Haven't had a chance to do a quarter mile run yet and not sure of power atw; should be able to sort that out this week when I get it on the dyno

I'm running a Turbonetics T5 turbo

I live at Hillcrest which is on the southside of brisbane, just up from browns plains

Yes, I've also had a manual conversion done. Luckly I was able to get perfectly good gearbox straight out of another TF magna so everything bolted in nicely :)

If theres anything else i've forgotten let me know.

Good to be amoung people who enjoy magnas instead of people who have been giving me comments like "why would you do up a magna?"

WM Motorsport up at Brendale on the north side of brisbane. Bloke there Warren does a great job although he's not the cheapest around. Personally I'd rather pay the extra to have the peace of mind that the job is going to be done properly. Hopefully tomorrow ill have the full invoice so i'll know exactly what parts and modifications were made down to the smallest detail.

Thats a pretty cheap job if you got the manual conversion at the same time, good score.

You must scare the snot out of most cars out there now with that setup.

Looks the goods too, good job.

Would'nt mind seeing dyno figures and a timeslip to really see what it does.
