as the title sugests, ive just fitted a new clutch to my TR 2.6, and it is very light. Too light.
the clutch is identical to the old one, an exede, in kit form. I dont remember the old one ever being this light when it was fitted. Should i be worried?

Is it actually working, i.e. separating the clutch and flywheel? Can u select gears with engine running?

it drives fine. selection of gears is easy, and the free play is about an inch and a half. Its just way too light. we even bled the clutch with new dot4 fluid to check.

dont worry at all mate,

Every time i have a clutch fitted to one of my cars,when i drove it for the first time,i nearly pushed the friggin pedal through the firewall,it was just like standing on air!

but both times they got progressively harder over time till it felt exactly like the old one it replaced

in a word,dont be to worried,and give it time
