hey all,
I've fallen in love with a set of rims that I can buy cheaply.

They are 17"x7", +35 offset.

Now my only worry is, will they fit ok onto my TJ sports? I know the stock offset is +46, with the factory 16x7" rims, but I'm thinking having them sit 11mm out further won't be a problem? If anything it should fill out the guards nicer...

my shocks/springs are KYB Excel-G's and King Lows, so my ride height won't be all that low.
What do we think? Should they fit? anyone here had 7" wide rims with +35, or close to that offset?

EDIT: would this have been better in Magna Mods section? if so, please move...

Is it the smaller the number the further they stick out?
I have 17x8's which i'm 75% sure are +38 offset, and they sit perfectly in line with the guards. Any further out would stick out of the guards and be illegal :).

They should be good.. Get a trial fit on em before you buy em.. If possible.

But yeah.. as M4DDOG said.. The smaller the number the further they stick out!

They should be fine.. Just try and get urself a trial fitment!

yep, trial fitment is definantely possible, althogh it will without a tyre, just the rim itself.

It will fit just fine. Nothing to worry about if anything it will look much nicer sitting closer to the guards. It wouldn't be sticking out at all. Just make sure the PCD is 114.3

Just what I was hoping to hear :)

from memory the offset is + or - the centerpoint of the wheel, so yes the smaller the offset the more it sticks out.

that size should fit nicely thou.

Bingo!

Centrepoint --> +
- <-- Centrepoint
