Hey everyone how are you all doing ?
i will have about $1000 to spend on my car soon, and i dont know what to buy next !
my performance mods so far include : air filter, high-flowed TB, FPR, zorst, pacemakers, insulator blocks, and springs (strut brace/sway bars etc also).
Would anyone be able to tell me which mod will give the the most benefit out of cams, plenum , or ecu ?
all opinion are appreciated !

Cams by far, but if your going the cams path you would need a set of valve springs some vernier cam pulleys and an ecu to see the real benefits of them.

Edit: I reckon for the 1k tho your best bet would be a piggy back interceptor chip, with your mods you could see some improvements.

intake manifold helps day to day driving by improving the hellout of your midrange torque, it really is fantastic.
cams will cost more than 1K cause of labour, if u go bigger than rpw stage 2 u will need more bits and pieces plus more labour costs.
spend $1200 on a unichip or something similar. you'll prob gain around 6-10kw at the wheels plus a big boost in torque

yeah might go a greddy e-manage or something like that. Heard you can get them pretty cheap 2nd hand, so it might be the go !

Yeah, if you go the chip route, you'll need a second hand one I think. Cost me a fair bit more than $1k for an interceptor and tune (plus they'll wanna do your fuel filter and spark plugs too)
I'd get a chip and tune if you can for $1k. I got 11kW ATW with less mods than you from my chip.

Very recently I've seen Greddy Emanage going for around $300 on ebay...
...and no, you don't get a link, cause I want one...
EDIT: No wiring harness however.

theres a guy selling them for 450 on ebay? havent seen one for 300, but wiring harness they wont 300 for
ben mate, get the chip the other mods u mention are better off to have when u got a chip as u will get the most out of them when they are tuned properly

i'd recommend an emanage, cos its something that u can use later on, even if u go down the track of forced induction. cos if u get cams, and then decide to boost it, ur cams will be worthless. and esp with something like the emanage, u can always tune and retune whenever u want.
when i was lookin at prices about 2 years ago, u could get the unit and all harnesses (software and injector as well) for about $450 brand new. u just have to keep looking around and be patient. - although i think they've released a new version of the emanage now tho.....

thanks for all the input guys, it has made my decision so much easier.
i hope the new version of the emanage is out also, then the old ones will hopefully be cheaper .... hehehe
i'll post up the results when its all done so others can decide if its worth it etc etc
thanks again !
