Hey Guys,
Got some 6x9's off the forum but they dont fit in the parcel shel. I have some alpine 6x0's in there currently and the fit fine, however the metal fram on the new ones are just a bit to wide to fit properly - anyine had this problem before?
Is the best option to just use a raiser?

So the screw holes don't line up?
3 options:
1) buy new speakers
2) drill new screw holes
3) use raisers

Yeah its not that the screw holes dont line up, its that the metal base is a smidge to fat lol
I am gonna roll the lip back a bit cause i wanna still use the stock covers!

gona try and roll back the metal tommroowm should be interesting, will let you know how it goes. I think i am going to have to sloghtly modify the stock grills so they fit over the speakers because they are 4-ways the speaker tweeters stick up a fair bit!
