Right dont have your hissy fits! i used the search button, it didnt help.
Was talking to one of the other pit crew down at Barbagello today who works for mitsubishi, we got onto the subject of magnas and inparticular rpw and daves car.
Now this guy seems to think that RPW remap standard ecu's and that they produce noticeable results..
Anyone know if this is true or any details?

No, it's not true. RPW use a full replacement ECU. The only magna ECU that is reprogramable afaik, is the TH.

RPW use a full replacement ECU.
:doubt: Last I heard it was still an e-Manage with Profac, not a full replacement.

Oh is it? I just typed that thinking it wasn't just a remap. Could be tho, I dunno.

Actually, I think David finally ditched the eManage and installed an E6X.

Really?????
Why go from 1 piggyback to another. I had a feeling he'd dropped the emanage - but in favour of a full replacement of some sort.
I think I remember him claiming he'd finally reached the flow limit of the Mitsubishi MAF sensor.

Well, his site still lists this:
Greddy E-manage system
Greddy Profec E-01 system Multi Display monitor and boost controller
Greddy Remote Boost Switch on steering wheel
Updates to January 2005
News since January 2005... Blah... blah... blah...
The last thing we will be doing is replacing the stock computer / Emanage system with a Haltech E11 ECU. This will go in with independant ignition coils to each cylinder c/o the new Mitsubish 380 system and removal of our distirbitor. Full sequential injection and ignition will allow some more boost, removal of the restrictive air flow meter and we expect much more power. The Haltech E11 also has full gearing / closed loop boost control which should enable us to get more traction down low with a controlled lower boost level and a higher boost level in the higher gears in a progressive manner to restrict wheel spin. Duel mapping will also finally allow us to try it with some VP 109 Unleaded Race Fuel. Time will tell on this but this is not planned until end of 2006.

But there's every chance that he's done that and not updated the site.

Nope still have not done the haltech upgrade yet - still currently running hte greddy emanage package.
Been too busy on customer cars to get time to do my own. As well I was going to be using hte new 380 coil and rocker cover pakage to use independant coils, the coils are cheap but hte damn rocker covers are way too expensie at around $300.00 each.
So instead i am going to eventually hook up 3 Duel post haltech coils and mount them over the engine mount on the drivers side, and then finish wiring up he haltech e11.
But its a low priority at this time cause my galant is nearly ready and that is my main focus for the time being.
The magna goes damn hard with the emanage and it works well, shall see if in the upcoming drag wars on the 29th whether we can crack that 11's again with some good tuning on the emanage in the next week.
