hey guys, havnt been on here for a while due to work and other priorities. but now it looks like i am back into the magna scene.
wondering what ppl are doin these days for there performance mods.
i have my sports exhaust system and getting my extractors put in soon. gonna go cold air. but wondering, what else is good for decent gains on a 3ltr???
not worrying bout money too much.

lol, yeah
was thinking single turbo but i think i read someone that turboe'd theres and costing them round 15k???? and i figured i could buy a supra for that cash.

Couldnt have said it better myself!!

Get yourself a Nos kit for around 1k, the go the turbo setup for around 6k

well thats if money aint an issue!!

so how much is it roughly to put a turbo into a gen 3 magna??? i had the impression that it was around 15K. and anyone know where abouts or who i speak to to get some more info.

Well i say 6k if you can source all the parts yourself and also most of the work, if not your up for about 8-9k although it depends on how cheap you get your parts!!

just get what you need over time and once you have everything you need take it to someone who is willing to install it all for you!! speak to black beard who has just done a twin turbo conversion, his thread is around aswell *search Twin turbo* and you should get some more answers!!

hehe. more or less stock buddy.. TH auto 3.5L with cold air intake and sports muffler. Tis manual now..

although i can see turbo's in the distance... just gotta save to get closer to that vision!

Don't forget if you go the turbo or built n/a route, you'll need to factor in the cost of accompanying upgrades, such as brakes and suspension to cope with the extra power. Also things like engine mounts are likely to break much more easily.

A new member in QLD just turbo'd his TF.. Set him back $10,500
That's a single turbo set up..

There's a few with cams n the like.. also a few new superchargers! So yeah.. The world is your oyster.. ... Well.. Not exactly, but you get the drift!
