anyone know if the stock TL TW VRX cd / radio will fit straight in a TL ES ? is it a matter of plugging in or is additional wiring required? anyone got one for sale?

the deck should fit in you just gotta take out the bottom din part to allow the deck to fit as for the wiring im not sure but i might be the same or it might have a couple of extra wires
why not just upgrade your current h/u instead of buying a VRX h/u
or do you like them?

IMO you'll be much better off going with a aftermarket HU (get a stacker with it if you want). Stock magna HU's sound crap, and really aren't worth what you'll end up paying for one. What sort of setup are you gonna run? If you are just gonna need keep the stock speakers, then I guess a factory magna one will do the job ok, and fit in better with your interior.

Its a straight change over. Same plugs. I've got one in my TJ II. If you can find one on here, they aren't too bad pricewise. All the wreckers I spoke to wanted $300+

Ive thought about getting one of these for my TJ because of the stacker but im unsure what the sound quality is like (at the moment it has a sony xplod HU), have you installed it yet Mohit? or does anyone know if they are worth the trouble and what do you reckon is a reasonable price?

Its a fair bit better than a KJ HU, which was much better than a TJ II stock unit (that really sucked). Its nice if you want a stock look, but I recon you would get much better feature for the cash elsewhere. I'm happy with mine, except for the lack of ipod input

Thanks tj, looks like im probably better off sticking with the sony.

I'm yet to install it as i'm still waiting for it to arrive
