The other night I was driving around and my auto Magna just decided to stall. I started it and drove for around another half an hour when it stalled again. I started it up again and it worked for around another 45 minutes then it stalled again, but this time it decided not to start and it hasn't started since.
I removed the fuel line from the fuel rail thismorning and it wasn't pressurised. When I turn the key no fuel comes out. should it? I know the fuel pump is working and before anyone asks, yes it does have petrol. Half a tank.
I would appreciate any help, I just want my car running again!

k disconnect the fuel line at the pump and at the regulator, then see if u can blow air through it with either an airgun or something of the sorts. it sounds too me like u have a blockage. are u 100% sure the fuel pump is working

When did you last replace yur fuel filter???

fuel filter is on the backline to the tank so that shouldn't make any difference

Also next time it does it get out and take off yur fuel cap, if you hear a fizzz your tank breather mite be blocked.
The filter should be between the pump and the regulator

I've never replaced the fuel filter. I'm 99% sure the fuel pump is working though.

so do you know why there's no fuel going to the fuel rail?
Twunka

its a problem between the tank and the rail and the only things in there are the pump, the fuel line and the regulator. so its gotta be one of those and if u said that the pumps fine then it must be either the regualtor (which u cant test easy) or a line blockage

do you know a way to check the fuel line to see if there is a blockage.
My cars been off the road for 3 months and I ran it completley out of petrol a few times. Would that have blocked something?

not likely but u should never do that to a car fitted with a cat convertor. just do as i said and blow an airgun or something of the sorts through the line

where do I find the air line to blow the airgun into?

sounds exactly like the Fuel relay pump has gone
RELAY- M.P.I FUEL PUMP
Make sure you take it into your mechanic, they will find out whats wrong quickly
If it is the above relay, should cost about $140 - $190
good luck

if the relay is gone then the fuel pump wont be workin. which he has said is working

yeah i agree your best bet if u dont know what the regulator, fuel line or fuel pump are or where they are located then u should really leave a job like this to the pro's as fuel lines are something u dont wanna be messing round with i mean look at what happened to booya (RIP golden one) when the fuel cought fire (i believe thats what happened)
