Do you mean an aftermarket style one, like a Monster Tacho, or an actual genuine in-dash tacho?

You need an ign power wire, and earth, an illumination wire and the sense wire which is a white wire going to pin 15 of the 21 pin plug behind the dash.

The others you can find with a multimeter.

Whaaaaaaaat Brian?

You will need
ign 12v
earth
lights 12v
negative coil

Now while it doesn't matter which side of the coil you get, it is nice to get the right side but you cant damage it by just guessing.

Some cars which dont have distributors are a real pita to get a tacho feed, but in your case its just one of the 2 or 3 wires going to the coil.
