Thats an illegal cheap imitation of the bar. It is much longer and creates grond clearance issues.

how can it be an illegal copy? i was told if it's 10% different then it's fine and sounds like the bar is lower and looks slightly different, so therefore i thought it would be legal ??? if it's illegal why are they still selling it?

I tried Emailing JVM could'nt get a reply so I went with Sinex in Melbourne.
It is fantastic also well made & at $380 + $90 Transport to Sydney u can't complain.
Also the price is negotiable so ask them their best price for a deal as I did & save a bit more.

From what I understood this dude used the molds to make the first one then walked away with them. John know's the details seeing though it's probably his intelectual property

The picture on the sinex website is actually of WTCHME's car and that is not actually the JVM bar itself. It is the older version(named the whiplash bar) of it which we believe has been obtained illegally.

Sweet. Thanks folks. Thanks also for the PM.

What skirts and rear are popular with these kits?

I like the Bunbury gear too.

There's a gaping opening for a credible spoiler/wing for the Magna's don't people think.

Guys all i'm going to comment regarding the JVM front bar is that there is other mobs out there with the old "whiplash kit". I know who possesses this kit and cant do much to stop them. Idont wish to badmouth anybody as theyre trying to do business just the same as I am. Just be wary about the quality of the product you buy as there are lower quality products out there.

The jvm kit seems to work well with a whole lot of different kits. I've seen it with the sportswagon kit, vrx kit, ralliart kit. Other options are "gsr" sides/rear as well as talon and bunbury sides/rear.

Actually in light of what John and others have said I think its unprofessional that Sinex have
used a pic of wtchme to sell a product which isnt what was used. Hints at the ethics and
level of quality perhaps. oh and they are out of stock for a fortnight:D
