Hey
I just got my TF on monday and while ive seen TE/TF engine pictures before in person I couldn't believe how friggin huge the water resivour for the windscreen jets was. Has anyone else had this same thought? I didnt see why something rather friverlous was probley the real reason behind NSW dams being sucked dry, Magna owners are just filling up these Mitsubishi made olympic pools. I just thing the space its taking up could be put to better use.

Mitsubishi knew how desolate certain areas of Australia were , and the sp**** incidence of
Seven Elevens, the rising theft of the winscreen cleaners when you get to a Seven eleven,
and thoughtfully dained to make thy resevoir plentiful.

Really centrelink subsidises all Australian based car manufacturers to enlarge their
windscreen washer reservoirs- in an effort to stamp out the scurge that is -the shirtless
windscreen washer wielding centrelink dependants -which have the monopoly on every major city intersection.:D -I cant wait for xbox to bring out - washers wiped- turf wars for
gold

They knew Mitsu owners were going to turbo some of them so they used a huge bottle so you can install those little nozzles to spray the intercooler before a good run down the track.. Keeps your intake temps cooler. Guess would be a great bottle for water injection too for forced induction applications...

Too true - if you use the wagon one, you have a spare pump as well :)

Quite the contrary. The OEM washer bottle is so huge, it's actually a hinderance to a turbo installation. Mine was ditched in favour of a much smaller aftermarket washer bottle which would hold about 1 L of water tops.
