Hey guys,
Just a silly question, but does anyone here know if the heads off a 3.0 litre motor will bolt onto the 3.5 block?
If so, is it a direct bolt on, or would something need to be changed, and would the stock ECU be able to run it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Lukas.

Although I don't know the answer
I would assume they are interchangable as it is in the same engine family
However, I would assume that the 3 litre would have different cams and therefore probably bad for power and not so good to run on 3.5 ECU

Didn't we go over it about a week ago that the heads are the exact same?

Hey guys,
Im not actually after a set sorry.
And the general consensus is that it will just bolt right up?
Did we have this thread like a wek ago? My bad.

Same heads. Diff cams. I discussed briefly with Dallas at Street Torque the idea of getting Booya's stock heads worked (3L) for my 3.5 which he assured me were a direct bolt on.
The valves and valve springs are the same part number.
I'm not porting and deshrouding valves on a pair of 3L heads for nothing!!
