i had this thought last night, although i dont have the neons yet.

do you have an aftermarket keyless entry or is it standard?
did you do it yourself, was it hard to do?

What happens when you put your hazards on? lol.
Sounds cool mate, you should hook the neons up to the alarm as well, so that when the alarm goes off the neons flash as well.

Do the neons flash when using the hazards/indicators? If so I'd remove that as soon as you can

you could have the neons on a seperate switch so that when you need the hazards, the neons are off. i used to have the neons on my old commy hooked up to the interior light, so when you unlocked the car with the central locking it lit up

what i did was set up a normally closed relay to the ignition system so when the car is parked the relay is closed and the neons flash when i unlock it
but when i turn the engine on the relay opens and the neons DONT flash to the blinkers or hazards
i also made a bypass switch so i can turn them on when you rock up somewhere. i just founded a black flat flush rocking switch on top of the steering coloum looks like it is stock. oh and i had to ad a diode to the circuit so when i turned them on with the switch it didnt turn on the indicatiors too.

the neons flash to the hazards when the key is out but dont when the key is in.so if i ever need to use the hazards if i have a break down or accident just leave the ignition on, but i could put in a cutout switch if i wanted to.

i got the positive for the neon power from the controller reciever unit where there is a 20 or so pin plug, and got myself in a very awquid position with my head in the drivers foot well and closed the doors and using a testing probe stuck the probe in the back of the plug of every pin and locked and unlocked the car for every hole untill i found the pin that made my probe flash to the indicators, i then tapped into that lead.

(stock remote central locking with no alarm)

this is not hard just takes a little time, and know what you are doing. i might draw up a wiring diagram and instructions if any 1 needs it, ill try and remember exactly how i did it was it was a few months ago, i got my parts from jarcar electronics this is really cheap mod to do and the most expensive part is the neons themselvs

i also have neons in the foot wells of my car for front and back seats, that light up when the door opens they are hidden so you would never know the neons where there untill they turn on.

i hope i havnt left out any ones questions

Ah its good you've done it like that...would be funny to see a car sitting there with indicator on and neons flashing away lol
