Is there any way to get the Xi Verada steering wheel audio controls to work on an aftermarket head unit?
Inspecting the plug on the back of the controls, theres only 2 wires so my guess is that this is not possible, but theres no harm in asking.
If not, who wants a KH Xi leather steering wheel? Cost me $75 about 2 weeks go, no use to me, so whatever is offered I may just have to take.
An after market generic control point can be bought which for around 95 allows you to use your controls- will have the details in the morn as im getting one tmrw-:D

No Idea lol I have a tendency to leave things like that in the box and never use them. Ill have to check the box when I get home.

If it does you can just mount the remote somewhere near the hu, then rewire your steering wheel buttons to to the buttons on the remote.

The clockspring does not have enough contacts to allow this, look for a device called
a swix - im running one in my car, it will adapt the signal from the wheel which is resistance based to an IR signal.

Tech info on the swix
Agents for the swix unit here in Victoria are Stinger Australia Pty Ltd tel 98470177
Hope this helps

And what's a rough price for 1 of them?
