hey guys just started my car today and it has no power above 3000rpm... i did keep going until 4,000 could this just be the fuel filter...??? the only way to get it past 3000 is go down hill.... thanks cameron

don't count out the fuel pump as well. my g/fs mazda had the same problem, ended up being the fuel pump was about to give up the ghost

Check all your electrics, ie. spark plugs, leads, distributer cap.

Mine did the same. did nothing after about 3500rpm and misfired a hell of a lot.
i changed the plugs and leads, checked and cleaned the distributor cap. worked perfectly afterwards. u mite also wanna clean ur injectors, wont b the problem but if ur thinking of changin ur plugs and leads clean ur injectors 2. she'll run like a dream :D

Mine had this problem quite a while ago...turned out to be fuel pump and incorrectly gapped plugs.
