Yes the news is all good.
The RPW Race extractors hve been fitted to the doner car on a 2wd model and fit very nicely. We have also made them in a way so that they should fit the 3.0 and 3.5 models with no clearance issues due to the smaller V issue on teh shorter 3.0 engine block and teh way it affects teh length of the flex pipe.
We will be testing in the new year the system on a 3.0 to ensure that thre is no problem but otherwise we will be ordering 30 sets to be made straight away so that come January they will be avialable to start sending out.
This is all exciting and they are very easy to fit up and look great.
I don't have photo's yet sorry bt will get some later.
More information will be coming within the next few days on this.

Why should we spend more money on your Race extractors, than say, your generic extractors or Pacemakers...
What are these race headers offering that the others do not.

Sounds exciting. Have you got dyno results yet? Very keen to see differences between stock(+well muffler) and with the extractors. And also the differences between the old ones and these new ones :)
If I order some in January, will I be able to get them straight away (out of your batch of 30), or are they all pre-orders?

ok ok - we dynoed my car the other day with the street headers - and went back yesterday to do the race headers as well - but the dyno place was too busy to do it - so we will wait until the new year to see the difference in performance between the new systems.
for those interested - i pulled 179 HP at the treads = 133FWKW - now from the last dyno of 119.6 - i have added performance wise - a pod with RPW CAI, 70mm T/B and the street headers - and i can tell you the race ones feel better - smoother and a little more up top - and look dam impressive - if i can get some photos of my wheels - i will get photos of the new headers at the same time and will post all the pics up here along with the dno printout when we re-dyno the car.

Thanks Manuel for the feedback.
YEs we will need to test them on a 3.0 and we will do a deal just like manuel - you pay for the system but we fit them free which is around a $200.00 saving which is always better than a kick in the pants.
Although it looks like the way the system has been amde the 3.0 issue of flex pipe length has already been taken into account
We will be going back to the manafacturer on the 5th and starting production which is good news for everyone.
As to why they are better simply back to basics
(A) THey are a fully tuned length system - equal length runners within 1" of each other
(B) Tuned length flex pipe with full mandrel bends
(C) No clearance issues with control arms
(D) Direct bolt up to the cat converter with O2 sensor fitting already in place
(E) EGR Fitting is there if you want to fit it up it is undrilled so you can choose to drill itif you want (Most people don't and we don't either :D )
The design unlike pacemakers and other brands is the tuned length principles and of course, the headers are far longer than our older street design and come with the flex pipe which has no rasps, noises and is a larger diameter and made to flow better than the stock unit.
Anyway time will tell but this is exctigin news.

(Hopefully a silly question). But you'll test fit the 3.0 before ordering production?
Although it looks like the way the system has been amde the 3.0 issue of flex pipe length has already been taken into account
This is the smaller V issue? Would the issue have been that the flex pipe was too long and would have cramped up?

Is this the exhaust gas return line that sends exhaust back into the manifold?

With these extracters, does using a hi-flow cat make much of a difference?
If it's going to make a difference for the money, then I'll get one, otherwise I'll save my money for other mods like maybe TB, FPR, chipping mods. :)

hey if you want to go into production of 2.6l extrzActors, i will offer my donor services:P

The problem on the 3.0 extractors can be the length of the flex pipe where it bolts onto the front header can be too long Ie the front flange goes past its matching flange due to the shorter block in combination with the V angle moving the front header closer to the rear header.
Yes we will be beginning production on the systems before we test a 3.0 as the majority of sales are the 3.5 and we need to address that straight away.
From there the 3.0 will be testd and if necessary a new flex pipe made specifically for the 3.0 cars although I do not think that will be an issue.
The EGR is the return gases from manifold to intake manifold. The fitting is there but we don't drill it. YOu can choose when fitting to drill it or not - we recomend not.

If it robs power, even a small amount, then I don't want it. I need all the help I can get to catch up to Manual.

Hey guys I'm new to the forums (with a 3.5l Magna).
In relation to the street OR race extractors (doesn't bother me which ones I get), will they drop below the standard ride height?
I'm already close to bottoming out a lot of the time, and I've been told that RPW ones drop quite low. If that's true, would I lose any performance from getting them custom-made by RPW so they don't drop any lower than std.?

heya bladebla - i have had the Street and the Race headers on my car and they sit no lower than the engine support bar under the engine - so unless you are scraping that than you will have no issues with the extractors - i will get pictures tonight - i need to get quite a few for different reasons and will get pics of all over the car.

That would be great Manual. If that is the case, then I'll order them ASAP. What is the closest supplier to me? I'm in Canberra.
