"Colour Coded" windscreen wipers!!

I recieved a set of Blue windscreen wipers the christmas just gone and had them installed on my old R31 until I sold it. Only recently did I have the time to put them on the magna, and well here the pics are (hopefully the pics work)

Yeh dude they look the goods although i dont consider it a mod, but looks a lot better than the standard ones, i changed mine aswell to a set of chrome ones, im just wondering how i can get the other part chrome, would look sick if it was possible, although i think it would come out dodgey in chrome paint!!

LOL i badly needed new wipers so went out and brought some, which i thought was black. They were expensive at like $20ea, but i thought they must be decent.

Anyway, put them on the passenger seat when i was driving home, they were turning reddish and greenish... friggen chamelon ones.. they were black in the store!!

I thopught it was a mod as they work better than the stockies :)
You might have to detach the other part from the body, strip the paint off and electroplate it to get it chromed, to much work imo

@Dee those sound cool!! did you put them on in the end. Yeah, it is a bit rice but still unique :p

Wait for the christmas catalugues to come out, my sister got them for me, they probably have them again this year. I think it was sprint autoparts who had them, they have a few colours from what I remember seeing the catalogue.

Well the little fin on the front of them adds to the aerodynamics of the whole car, so I would look at maybe a 0.25kw increase and a 1km/h increase to the average speed. But dont tell anybody. :shhhh: lol

But if I were you I'd colour code them to actually match the colour of your car FTW; the current blue looks pretty rice..

And they gotta be good for at least 15 fully sick hectic kw atw!!

Thanks, they really arent colour coded, my sister got them for me for my skyline that I sold recently and they mathced the floor mats that were in it and are currently in my magna. So they match the blue immitation rubber checkerplate floor mats. I s'pose they are ricey aswell. :p

Also the wipers faded a bit in the sun when on the skyline as you can see, thay are meant to be the deep blue on them not with the silver showing through :( I could try and get them matched them when I get the scratch in my door (that I put there :rant:) fixed.

Yes well I bought a pair of chrome ones from Autobarn, then sportin my new fully sic blades went shoppin at Kmart Campbellfield- Only to find the local crack ***** sizin em up two feet from the car, Damn I said- wheels too big for your recycle bin hotel? and ran home and

Agreed. I don't really like them as-is, but if you colour coded the whole lot a similar colour to the paint on the car, it'd look pretty decent (although I personally still prefer the standard black).

I think the wiper arm comes off a with a single nut? so it would be worth taking it off and painting it if you CBF'd really.
